The Madison County School System presented their Teacher and Support awards on Tuesday evening, March 8, 2011 at the Flint River Baptist Church on the North Parkway in Hazel Green, AL. One Teacher and an alternate, plus one Support Person and an alternate were chosen in a blind competition judged by a select panel of Education Leaders who serve in Madison County. The event was planned and officiated by Ms. Geraldine Tibbs of the Madison County Board. Approximately 400 people attended the reception and the recognition program.
